Our Brand Ambassador Program

We would love to welcome you to our “Boomerang Inner Circle”!

Does this sound like you?

1. You love to delight other people. To do the thing that touches another’s heart is intuitive and easy for you.

2. You are fascinated and excited to learn how to do this more often and are sincerely drawn to this project.

3. You don’t mind a brief spotlight on you while you shine a bright light onto others, to help them feel that they matter, creating joy with every action you take.

Four Key Touchpoints

Ambassadors should be able to participate in 1-2

1. The “Joy-Drop” Kits (Physical Connection)

Having a physical component reinforces the physical pop-ups. Even if you do not have a physical office or team, this will work just as well with a local community spot you frequent.

The Mission: Every quarter, Ambassadors receive a Joy-Drop kit: a physical box of tools (branded cards, small gifts, or conversation starters) designed to be “popped up” in their own local office or community. These will be custom tailored to the recipient(s) of the pop up.

The Goal: You host a Mini Pop-Up (a 15-minute coffee break or a team huddle) using TJC framework to move your team from a 3 to a 7.

2. The “Mattering Correspondents” (Digital Connection)

This group focuses on the Podcast and the digital ripple effect.

The Mission: You are the first to hear podcast episodes. Your job is to “Catch” a story in your own life that aligns with the episode and share it on LinkedIn.

The Goal: You tag The JoyCatchers and use a specific hashtag (e.g., #CaughtTheJoy) to create a searchable map of “mattering” across the globe. (Hashtags don’t really do a lot on LinkedIn but it is a nice way to make people feel connected to this). *our very own Brand Ambassador Melissa Cohen is available for private trainings if you need a LinkedIn refresh.

3. The “Culture Architects” (Corporate Connection)

Specifically for HR leaders or managers who believe in our mission.

The Mission: You act as internal champions. You are the ones who say, “We need a JoyCatcher Pop-Up at our next All-Hands.”

The Goal: You empower them to use TJC language within your own companies.

4. The Boomerang Awards (Recognition)

Once a year, Kerry will host a virtual or physical gala to recognize the Ambassadors who created the biggest ripple effects.

Categories: “The Visibility Award” (for someone who truly made others feel seen) or “The Bridge Builder” (for someone who connected their team deeply).

The Why: This reinforces the “I should have” philosophy by celebrating people now, while they are here to feel it.

How you can apply to become an Ambassador with us

We are receiving submissions between April 1- May 3, 2026

The Application: Share a story of a time you felt invisible or a time you made someone else feel they mattered.

The Induction: An onboarding Vision Call with Kerry where you will learn the Boomerang philosophy.

The Commitment: You agree to “Throw one Boomerang” (one act of intentional connection) per month. These are not big time commitments, they are micromoments such as:

○ Leaving a handwritten note on a colleague’s desk (or in a dedicated Slack/similar shout-out) that specifically names a contribution or action.

○ Intentional Wagmo: During a Zoom meeting, the Ambassador intentionally pauses to acknowledge the “coworkers” at our feet.

○ In a meeting where a key contributor is missing or a junior employee is being quiet, the Ambassador “throws the boomerang” to them, acknowledging their work and contributions to the team/project.

○ An Ambassador “catches” someone doing something small but meaningful (a barista who remembers a name, a neighbor picking up trash on the street) and gives them a JoyCatcher Token or a verbal Boomerang.

○ After listening to a JoyCatchers podcast episode posted on LinkedIn, the Ambassador tags one person who personifies the theme of that episode and shares why.

Ideal and Optional for the Role

Social Media/Visibility: The more you share and inspire about others, the more people will feel that your care is genuine and we will create a movement for flourishing in the world.

Your Merch Vibe: We want to see your creativity… sketch or draw a design that we can brand onto a teeshirt, mug, dog blanket, etc. Anything that means joy for you. Your original design will be featured in our store (JoyCatchers x YOU).  For any of your merch sold you will receive 50% of the net profit of each unit.

Champion TJC: Tee up a conversation for Kerry to sell a virtual or in person pop up, gain a podcast sponsor, or speaking opportunity.  In any of these scenarios the ambassador will earn 20% of total net revenue.  Ambassadors can also choose to lead an event that they have been at the forefront of introducing. In that capacity you are paid a per diem @$250 per hour as well as T&E for any travel.

Training: We will conduct trainings upon hire, and ongoing as needed in order to learn new elements of our programs
